When you're working on multiple video projects, a cluster storage system can quickly become overwhelming. But a well-structured folder system allows you to find files easily, avoid duplicate footage, and speed up your editing process. I'm going to teach you a simple yet effective way to structure your files. Keep in mind that this folder structure is specifically designed for video projects, ensuring all of your assets are properly sorted and accessible whenever you need them. The first folder you need to create is the main folder. I want you to name it after the project, for example, Bali Travel Vlog. And inside the main folder, I want you to create a folder with the name Raw Footage. So this is where all of your original video files straight from your camera goes. And if you want to be even more organized and specific, you can create different sub-folders inside the Raw Footage folder and name them A Rolls or B Rolls, so you know exactly where to find all the A rolls, and you know…
