- [Instructor] What is Microsoft 365 Copilot? It's an AI-powered virtual assistant integrated into Microsoft 365 products. It can help individuals and businesses get more done in less time. Microsoft 365 is a cloud-based productivity service that includes apps like Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and many others. Microsoft 365 offers plans for different types of users, including home, business, enterprise, and education. You can visit its plan and pricing page for more details. With the fast growth of AI technologies, Microsoft has introduced its AI assistant Copilot to Microsoft 365. There are two ways to use Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can use it in Copilot chat, just like how you use ChatGPT, or you can use Copilot embedded in various Microsoft 365 apps like Pages, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Word. You can choose your Microsoft 365 Copilot plan for business, enterprise, and personal. Now, let's do a quick demo on how to use Microsoft 365 Copilot. Here's the Microsoft 365 Copilot chat. You can chat with Copilot using prompts like the way you use ChatGPT, but the key difference is that Microsoft 365 Copilot can generate responses using the work data you can access in your Microsoft 365 environment. For example, I can enter, how many emails have I received this month from, then type slash to search for content within my Microsoft 365. Like people, files, meetings, and emails. I will choose the demo user, Henry Twill, then submit my prompt. Copilot finds six emails from Harry and provides the reference link. I can then enter, summarize these emails. Copilot generates a summary of these emails. Now let's see how to use Copilot in Outlook. Here's the most recent email received from Henry Twill. Click Copilot in the menu, then choose Summarize. Copilot summarizes this email. Click Copilot then choose Draft. I can tell Copilot what I want to say in the email. For example, request information. Copilot will draft an email message for me. This saves me quite some time compared to writing it from scratch. After make some changes, I can send this email.
