- Imagine you've been collaborating with a team and you've created a new product which you want to start marketing to customers as soon as possible. You have a diverse thinking team, you've all collaborated in the idea generation phase, and you've tested your product with a pilot group of customers. During the experimentation phase, you gained some useful feedback which meant as a team, you were able to make some tweaks to the final product. So you're all set, ready to launch, or are you? What you've missed in the process is a focus on critical reflection and true innovation can't occur without this. Of course, by this stage, you've gathered feedback and responded to that, but a one-off reflection event isn't enough.
