- If you want to know how to add these cool text effects on your videos, here's how to do it. First, you need to add text. So to add text over your clip, click the text, then drag the default text box to the right position over your video clip. You can also adjust its duration by extending or shortening it on the timeline. And then let's add some effects over the text. So to add the effect, head over to the editing control panel. And then you can type in the text that you want to appear on the screen. You can adjust the font, font size, format, and color however you want. You can also add animation over your text by clicking different effects based on your preference. If you use the same text style very often, you can save them as a preset for easy access later. You can also use the pre-designed text effect instead of creating your own style.
