- Let's go through a few examples that you might recognize, something, for example, that is both urgent and important. A customer's meal gets dropped on the floor. It's urgent because it must be fixed right now. And it's important because it directly affects the customer's experience. Then we have something that is urgent, but not important. So for example, the phone rings and it's a supply chasing payment for something. And it feels urgent because the phone ringing needs to be answered, right? But honestly, it's not important right now, and you probably just need to delegate that to someone else. Then we have important, but not urgent. So maybe you've got a new team member who needs to be trained on how to take an order. He doesn't scream for your attention, but if you don't do it, you'll probably regret it later. Of course, you're gonna need to schedule this training for a time that's gonna work well. Then we have neither…
