- Let's build a dashboard for exploration. So we're going to build an exploratory dashboard. So what features do exploratory dashboards have? Well, they're going to include several sheets or views of the same data. It's going to present the data to make it easy to find answers. You know, they shouldn't be hard to find. It's going to be high levels of interaction. So we should expect filters, actions, and highlights. And this is going to be a single dashboard, but will have many uses. The idea being that a large number of people can interact using the same actions, but find different things that are of interest to them. So let's go ahead and build one. So what it needs to show is we're going to look at the last three years worth of sales data. We're interested in looking for regional variations. It should be able to show peak sale periods.
