- Just like with Windows or Linux, macOS includes a wide range of tools, settings and features designed to help users customize, manage and secure their systems. In this episode, we'll walk through the key features of macOS that you need to be familiar with for the CompTIA A+ Core 2 exam. Let's dive in. You'll often hear these referred to as System Preferences, but starting with macOS Ventura and continuing into Sonoma and Sequoia, Apple renamed it System Settings. To open it, click the Apple menu in the top left corner. Then select System Settings. Once you're in, you can also click View at the top to quickly access common used options. For the A+ exam, you'll want to focus on these: Displays, Network, Print & Scanners, Privacy & Security, and Accessibility, and Time Machine. Let's go through each one.
