- With the continued improvements in voiceover IP and video and voice transmissions over the internet, conferencing by voice or audio slash video is becoming commonplace and not only in businesses and government, but at home as well. In this episode, we'll look at the use of screen sharing, video conferencing, software and services, and webcams. What is generally called video conferencing is a communication service for audio conferencing or audio slash video conferencing. Audio conferencing can be conducted over an audio conferencing bridge appliance, or through the use of an online service, such as WebEx, RingCentral, or Grasshopper.
