- [Instructor] Thymeleaf. Thymeleaf is a modern server side Java template engine wildly used in spring NVC applications for rendering dynamic views. It is particularly favored for its natural templating capabilities, Spring integration, and ease of use. Four main features of Thymeleaf include: one, natural templating. Thymeleaf templates are valid HTML documents that can be previewed in a browser or IDE without a backend server. This facilitates collaboration between developers and designers since templates look like standard HTML. Here we have an example of natural templating so that when this is processed, this line that we have here, message is replaced with dynamic data from the model. Some advantages of natural templates is HTML documents are readable and editable without a server, and this simplifies development and collaboration.
