Whether we're sitting on our couch browsing the web on our smartphone, maybe we are at a coffee shop doing some work on a laptop or changing the temperature in our house with an internet of things device. We see wireless networks everywhere, and that's going to be our focus in this module. Specifically, in this module, we're going to go through a couple of lessons. In the first lesson, we'll get an overview of wireless networks, and in this overview, we'll take a look at the star of the show when it comes to wireless networks, and that is wireless access points. We'll talk about some design concepts surrounding wireless networks. We'll define various wireless networking terms, and we'll consider radio frequency technologies.
