Manipulating keyframes and curves
- [Instructor] This is where we left off in the previous movie. We've got these three space ships drifting off in space, and then suddenly they zoom off into warp speed. Currently they all move off at the same time and the ones in the distance, if we just pause the playback, they just kind of stop here. So we want to sort out that animation. We also want to offset the timing of this as well, and we can achieve all of these things by working in the timeline. So I'll rebind the play head and press Shift F3, and that will bring up the timeline. You can also choose Window, Timeline, Dope Sheet here. If we twirl these down, we can reveal the position properties and we can do that for all of these. And, what we'd like to do is make all of these still maps, so what we want to do is, we want to refine this curve a bit. Now, I can do it here in the dope sheet, using this mini F-curve, or I can go to an F-curve mode, where I've got a lot more control, and I can just refine it a bit more, just…
