There are four basic options that you can use to host your applications. Software as a service, or SaaS, traditional hosting, the cloud, and in increasingly rare circumstances, you might need to maintain your own server. The most basic option you can choose is using SaaS platforms to handle your apps. For example, you could use Gmail to host your domain emails, Shopify to host your e-commerce site, or apps like force.com that provide a lot of different tools. These solutions can be good because it's so fast to get up and running. They guarantee up time, and they handle a lot of items so you won't have to.
