Configure startup options
- [Instructor] If you've noticed that it takes longer than it used to for your computer to get through the boot process, you can make some configuration changes to help speed it up. There are three ways I'd like to discuss here. You can configure Fast Startup, a feature of Windows 11, if it's supported by your device hardware. You can disable unnecessary services or delay their start, and you can stop unnecessary applications from loading when Windows does. Let's begin with Fast Startup. Click the task bar and in the search window, type Control Panel, and click it in the results. Now click Hardware and Sound. Now click Power Options, and now click choose what the power buttons do. Here, click change settings that are currently unavailable. Underneath Shutdown settings, make sure turn on Fast Startup is selected. If it isn't, select it, and click Save Changes.
