- In this week Splinters tips, tricks and techniques, I'm going to shift our focus and talk about Evie, in the addition of the brand new Cryptomattes feature, that's been present in cycles for quite a while. Now, Cryptomattes is a really simple, easy way to quickly matte objects in your scene and then adjust that stuff at render time. Let me show you. It helps to have a scene set up, So I'm going to go ahead and use our brand new tool here to block out a scene. And I'm just going to go ahead and just make any sort of stuff. Doesn't have to be anything in particular, I just need objects. Hey, there you go. It looks like a pretty important and busy scene.
