Lab setup
- [Narrator] Before you can complete the exercises that are a part of this course, you will require an Azure subscription. You can create a free Azure subscription with $200 worth of credits for a month. Going to this page, azure.microsoft.com/en-us/free allows you to create that new account. You can also create a pay-as-you-go account if you have already exhausted any free accounts that may be available to you. If you're a student, Azure makes a student account available as well. That will start you off with $100 worth of Azure credits. No credit card is required for this particular account, but it will have to go through your university or school email to validate your academic status. Once you've got that in place, then you can download Visual Studio Code either for Windows, for Linux or for Mac. The sample exercise files that we demonstrate will be in C#, but the lab files will be provided in both C# and Python for you to download and customize and tweak as necessary.
