Challenge: Aurora - Amazon Web Services (AWS) Tutorial
From the course: AWS Essential Training for Developers
Challenge: Aurora
(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Your application is starting to take off. You've already had to add a 30 C2 instance to your load balancer. Now you are noticing that with all the new users you're getting that your application is starting to slow down because it's waiting too long on the Aurora database. It's time to scale up. Let's see if you can navigate the RDS console on your own and figure out how to increase the Aurora capacity units, or ACUs, of your Aurora serverless cluster. For bonus points, think through what other settings and configuration changes you could make to speed up your database. Since you're exploring on your own, this challenge may take you 10 or 15 minutes, but feel free to click on the info and help icons within the AWS console and use your search engine or favorite AI tools to figure this one out. There's even AI Assistance built into the AWS console to help you out if you look hard…
