What you should know before watching this course

- [Instructor] So let's have a little chat about what you should know before you start working on this particular course. You should have a good basic knowledge of AutoCAD already by taking the Learning AutoCAD course in the library. You should also have taken the AutoCAD Essential Training course. You can use any version in the library for this as well. It gives you that good background knowledge of AutoCAD, the methodologies, the terminology and so on. You should also have a good working knowledge of those AutoCAD commands and the methodologies that you use with those commands, i.e all the basic stuff, so that then when you move into AutoCAD electrical, you're aware of all the technology within AutoCAD already, before you start using all the electrical tools in the AutoCAD electrical application. You should also really have a good working knowledge of electrical drafting, schematics and panels and so on. That way it's a lot easier for you to understand those methodologies in AutoCAD electrical as well. It's also ideal for all intermediate and advanced AutoCAD users. So if you've already got that base level knowledge of AutoCAD and you maybe haven't done the learning AutoCAD or AutoCAD essential training courses, you can still take this course, but ideally you should be at minimum, an intermediate user of AutoCAD before you jump into this AutoCAD electrical course.
