- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD Electrical course, and we're going to start looking at creating custom symbols for use in our schematic drawings in AutoCAD Electrical. Now, we've got a whole new project again for you. It's called project004, so you can go to the library, download the project004 folder, with the drawings, and the respective WDP file, to open up the project. As usual, the usual drill once you've done that. Project manager, click on open project, and you want to go to the project004 folder, find the WDP file, and click on open. Now, you'll notice my project004 was already open, as usual. If you expand project004 out, you've got a control DWG file, and an operator station DWG file. Those are the two drawings that we have for this project. Now, before we do that, we need to start thinking about creating our custom symbol to go into those project drawings.
