Copy components
- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our demo04.dwg file our in our WD Demo project. And I'm going to show you now, the copy component command. Now again, you must use the AutoCAD Electrical copy component command, not the regular AutoCAD copy selected command. Otherwise the database doesn't update in the AutoCAD Electrical project. So again, the copy component command is available on the Schematic tab on the ribbon, in the Edit Components panel, so this one here. So if I click there on Copy Component, I can go in and pick a component I want to copy. I'm going to hit escape though and what I'm going to do is hover over my LS1000, hold down the right click on the mouse and you'll notice when you look, you've got Copy Component on the right click marking menu. So I hover over it, release the right click and I can now copy my retracted LS1000 there. So I might put one say in that wire there. Click there and it adds it. Click OK and you can now see that we've now got a new one gone…
