- [Instructor] In this video, we will review using AI for automated candidate screening. Today, most open positions are advertised on job search websites. These websites make it easy to apply for any job with one click applications, so each position ends up with hundreds of applications with a number of unqualified candidates. How do we review through these hundreds of applications to find the right candidates? AI can come to the rescue. We can use machine learning to screen and identify resumes that are similar to the job requirements and then choose the most matching resumes for manual reviews. This will save a lot of time and effort. So what is the goal for automated candidate screening? For each candidate, come up with a match score in the range of zero to one. Higher score means better matching between the job requirements and the candidate's resume. What data will we use?
