- [Instructor] Here is the home screen where you start and end activities on your Android device. The top this screen is the status bar. Below the status bar, you find a home screen page. Many devices also show navigation icons at the bottom of the screen though, this device uses gesture navigation. The status bar shows notification icons on the left. These represent ongoing activities, updates and notices from apps. On the right are status icons which include network information, battery level, and so on. The status bar also acts as a handle for the notification drawer. Swipe down the screen from top to bottom. The notification drawer shows some quick settings icons below which you find notifications, including details. Swipe up and down to review the notifications. Tug down the screen a bit more to view the quick settings buttons. These icons access or activate various device features and shortcuts, wifi, Bluetooth, and so…
