- [Narrator] Video recording is handled by your Android's camera app, switching its mode to video. The method of getting into video mode differs, but in most cases you can tell you're in it because the shutter icon changes to the record icon. Shutter icon for still shots. Record for video. To begin recording a video, tap the record icon. The video begins to record. The recording icon changes to a stop icon. You may also see a pause icon. Tap stop to end the recording, or pause to suspend, and then resume the same video. You see a timer, which shows how long the video is recording. To end the recording, tap stop. To view the video, tap the thumbnail icon and then tap the video to play. Or tap the delete icon to remove the video and then you can try again. To record yourself, switch from the Android's rear to the front camera. Do this before you record, though some devices and apps let you record and switch…
