- [Instructor] Like the early days of social media, chatbots don't show ads. But as more people turn to AI for answers or product recommendations, chatbots could muscle in on search engine turf. And when it's time to monetize their offerings, pay to play seems like a logical choice. But how will your ads be presented? A colleague of mine was trying out Google Search Generative Experience when it was first released. He asked the bot to explain how to make his floor sparkle. And one of the tips included the name of a well-known consumer brand. Now, the company didn't pay for that mention, but perhaps in the future, they will. If that happens, will your brand name appear in a different colored font that denotes it's sponsored? Will it be clickable so your customers can visit your website or landing page?
