An overview of Azure DevOps
- [Instructor] I just want to start off this section by talking about how to get started with Microsoft Azure DevOps. Like many of us, Microsoft Azure DevOps has a complicated family history. There's On-Premises, and then there's In The Cloud. The On-Premises version used to be called Team Foundation Server. The In-cloud version of this was Visual Studio Team Services, which became Azure DevOps Services, which also has an On-Premise version called Azure DevOps Server. So that means you can have a lot of overlap between Azure DevOps Services and Azure DevOps Server. But you might also have in your organization an old Team Foundation Server. And that might have a lot of overlapping functionality with Azure DevOps Services. Because, as you can see, Azure DevOps Services is a more recent version of Visual Studio Team Services, which was an In-Cloud version of Team Foundation Server. So there could be some overlap there as well. So for this course, we're just going to be using Azure DevOps…
