- Hi, my name is Eran and welcome to After Effects Weekly. Now, if you're working with After Effects for a while, you probably know that you can create new compositions in four different ways. The first way is by visiting the composition menu and then choosing New Composition. The second option is to press Command here on the Mac, Control on Windows, and the letter N. The third option is to click on this icon in the project panel, and the fourth is by clicking on this big button here, New Composition, when you start the app or when everything else is closed. Now, it doesn't really matter how you are going to go about creating your new comps. You're always going to be greeted with this list of presets that you can choose from. So this list of presets was recently updated and now it's organized in a more logical order. The most commonly used presets are at the start of the list, such as three flavors of HD and then four…
