(bright music) - [Instructor] Let's understand the UE state transitions between the three RRC states we talked about. The initial state when the UE is powered up, in that case, it moves to the RRC_IDLE mode. In this particular state, there is no RRC connection. We talked about it. The UE is monitoring the paging channels. It performs cell reselection, and the mobility is controlled solely by UE based on the SIB messages. Once there is any data transmission happens, in that case, the user moves to the RRC_CONNECTED mode. And here, the mobility is being controlled by the network. Here, any support per flow based on the quality of service will be supported. And once this data transmission stops between the UE and the network, in that case, the state will move from RRC_CONNECTED to RRC_INACTIVE mode. Here, in this case, the RRC connection is suspended. We saw the connection between the UE and the AMF is disconnected here. UE will retain the A.S. context, which is access stratum context…
