Transfer data from a multi-user Sales Navigator subscription to a corporate Sales Navigator account or subscription

Sales Navigator users with a multi-user personal Advanced subscription that was purchased online can transfer their data to either a corporate Advanced or Advanced Plus account, or to another multi-user Advanced subscription. This process is called a manual data transfer as it requires assistance from a LinkedIn support representative and a data transfer agreement.

Transferring data involves moving the leads, accounts, searches, and notes between Sales Navigator account or subscription dashboards. Some information is not transferrable between dashboards. You should cancel your personal Sales Navigator subscription after the data transfer process is complete to ensure you’re no longer billed for your personal subscription.

Important to know

Once the data transfer process is initiated, it can take up to 48 hours to complete. A data transfer is an overwrite process where any existing data on the destination dashboard is replaced with new data. A data transfer might not be reversible. LinkedIn isn’t responsible if the data transfer can’t be reversed.

To transfer data from a multi-user personal Advanced subscription:

  1. Sign in to Sales Navigator.

  2. Click the  icon in the upper-right corner and choose Chat with support.

  3. In the Write a message text box, enter I’d like to talk with a support representative about a manual data transfer.

  4. When prompted, enter that you would like to transfer data between two dashboards. Include the following details:

    • The names of the personal subscription and corporate account dashboards.
    • The name and email address of the authorized company representative for the corporate dashboard, who must also be an admin on the corporate account.
  5. A LinkedIn support representative will respond in chat and send you a transfer request form using DocuSign which must be signed by you as the owner of the personal subscription.

  6. Complete the form. It will then be routed to the next signer. Once complete, it will be routed to LinkedIn.

  7. Cancel your personal Advanced subscription.

Results

  • After the completed form is received, a LinkedIn support representative will process the data transfer. 
  • An email is sent to you confirming that the data transfer is complete.
