Enable email or push notifications for InMail messages in Recruiter

You can enable email or push notifications in LinkedIn Recruiter to ensure you receive notifications for incoming InMail messages.

To enable notifications for InMail messages:

  1. Sign in to Recruiter.

  2. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Product settings from the dropdown. 

  3. Click Notifications on the left pane.

  4. Under Message and InMail, click Edit next to the type of notification (email and push) you want to enable for incoming InMail messages.

  5. Select On to turn on the notification.

  6. Click Save.

Email notifications are sent to the email address associated with your enterprise Recruiter account. This email address may differ from the email associated with your LinkedIn.com account.

For example, your LinkedIn.com account email address will receive email notifications for connection requests and InMails sent within your LinkedIn.com account. Your enterprise Recruiter account email address will receive any email notifications for activity within your enterprise Recruiter account. You are able to associate the same email address with both accounts. 

If you need to update the email address associated with your enterprise Recruiter account, reach out to an administrator on your enterprise Recruiter account. You can find out who your administrator is on your Account overview page.
