You can search for candidates in LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Lite to easily and quickly source relevant talent based on your requirements. Recruiter search is integrated with your projects which allows you to find top talent while staying organized with the ability to hide irrelevant results, save searches where you left off, and more.
You can run a search from the global search bar at the top of the page or from the Talent pool on the left pane of your project. You can also view your search history, save searches, and set up search alerts that automatically notify you when new candidates match your search criteria.
You may see approximate counts for your search results. Exact counts will appear for search results containing less than 1,000 results. In order to provide search results as quickly as possible, approximate counts will appear for search results containing 1,000 or more results.
The following counts may be rounded:
- Search header
- Spotlight counts
- Smart suggestion counts
- Project header
- Advanced search header
- Project creation counts
- Years of experience and other advanced search filters
If you’re a LinkedIn Recruiter Professional Services Plus (RPS+) customer, you have exclusive access to two search modes after you run a keyword search. Choose a mode based on your outreach goal:
- Recruiting mode: Focuses on sourcing candidates for hiring within your organization or a client’s requirements.
- Business Development mode: Enables searching for prospective clients by identifying LinkedIn members who are actively hiring. This mode optimizes outreach opportunities by:
- Automatically sorting search results using the Actively hiring spotlight to highlight leads most likely to engage.
- Adjusting messaging outreach intent to reflect business development goals, aligning all AI-Assisted Messages drafts with client-focused prospecting strategies.
