Respond to requests for your services on LinkedIn

Last updated: 3 months ago

When you offer your services on LinkedIn through a Service Page, potential clients can send you requests for services. Your LinkedIn Service Page admin view is a centralized place to reply to service requests from prospective clients. You can submit a proposal in response to a client’s service request to start the process of working together. Once you submit a proposal, a project for that client will be created in your admin view. Alternatively, you can decline the request. Declining a service request is irreversible and removes the request from your admin view.

Important to know

When you offer services on LinkedIn on your Company Page, messaging is enabled by default. To disable messaging, you will have to unpublish the Service Page from your Company Page.

Submitting a proposal starts a conversation with a prospective client and doesn't guarantee a contract.

To respond to your service requests:

  1. Access your LinkedIn Service Page admin view.

Learn how to access your admin view for services you offer with your personal profile or for services you offer with your Company Page.

  2. From the Admin view section, click New requests.

  3. Click the Submit proposal or No thanks button.
    • If you submit a proposal, enter your proposal details, and a personal message, and then click the Submit button. You can also message the client directly to send a link to the project for their convenience.
    • If you decline the request, click the Decline button to confirm. Declining a service request is irreversible and removes the request from your admin view.

Here's a tip

With a Premium Business, Sales Navigator, or Recruiter Lite subscription, you’re eligible to receive additional service requests to help you find more potential clients. This is only available for services you offer with your personal profile.

When someone requests your services, we may send you a notification or email. Learn what steps to take if you aren’t receiving requests for services, or the requests aren’t available when you open the notification.
