As a LinkedIn Learning admin, you can enable and set up System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM) on your Learning account. The SCIM server option appears on the admin settings page (Me > Authenticate > Automate user management). To sync data across your systems, you can configure and provision your LinkedIn Learning account with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Okta, and OneLogin.
Important to know
Before enabling SCIM, please clean up your user data for existing Learning accounts (if necessary). For more information, please review the Clean up your user list in LinkedIn Learning steps in the Related tasks section below.
SCIM allows you to:
- Keep user attributes synchronized between LinkedIn Learning and Azure AD, Okta, and OneLogin
- Create user profiles and assign/remove user licenses in LinkedIn Learning
- Provision groups and group memberships in LinkedIn Learning
Important to know
Once you enable SCIM for LinkedIn Learning, user and license updates will be disabled in LinkedIn Admin Center. You will need to make user updates in your identity provider (IdP). Changes will automatically sync to LinkedIn Admin Center's user and license management page within 1 hour.
