The current "Hours Viewed" metric in reports is [Hours:Minutes:Seconds]. For example, instead of 1.5001 hours viewed, we will show 1:30:05. This format aims to reduce rounding errors and drive consistency across reports. Impacted reports include:
Neither the API nor the historical data are impacted.
Important to know
Hours Viewed data is tracked only for LinkedIn Learning courses and videos uploaded by your organization. Learning paths and articles are not currently included in this metric.

Log into LinkedIn Learning.

Click Go to Admin.

Click Insights and select Reports from the dropdown that appears.

Locate the report you’d like to customize and click
Customize & download report. -
In the Customize your [ ] report window that appears, you can select:
- Report Time Range
- Time intervals
- Choose Content Providers
- Filter By Groups or By Learners

After you’ve selected all customizations, click Download.
As a LinkedIn Learning admin, you can save time by receiving a downloadable link to your inbox. You can schedule up to 20 custom reports at once, to be sent either weekly or monthly. Reports will be sent to the email associated with your Enterprise Learning account. Please visit this article for steps on how implement this feature.
You can view updated data available in the CSVs in 48 hours or over. Admins see this at the top of the download reports page when the data is last updated.
Courses are marked as complete once all required videos in the course have been completed. A video is considered complete after a user watches 70% of the content without fast-forwarding through. The speed at which a learner watches a video has no impact on this metric as long as they watch the required amount of the video.
