The contract will be executed under our joint venture with Troy 7, Inc. (Troy Sierra JV). Our Sierra Lobo team was proud to be onsite at Cape Canaveral for today’s successful NG-23 launch! This mission has a strong Northern Ohio connection: - The Foras Promineo CubeSat was designed and built in partnership with Perkins High School in Sandusky. - Our Cleveland-based SpaceDOC III team at NASA Glenn supported NASA’s ZBOT experiment, which launched aboard Cygnus today. The NG-23 mission is set to launch today from Cape Canaveral! Onboard the SpaceX Falcon 9 is Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus XL spacecraft carrying Foras Promineo, a CubeSat designed and built by Sierra Lobo in partnership with Perkins High School in Sandusky, OH. We are also proud to support NASA’s ZBOT Zero-Boil-Off experiment through our SpaceDOC III contract, with several of our TDEC and SpaceDOC III team members in attendance for today’s launch. Almost 100 attendees were treated to an insightful panel discussion about the aerospace industry at the July NODE (Northeast Ohio Development Exchange) meeting at the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration Neil A. Armstrong Test Facility last week.
