An inspiring two days with the GCX management team at RAC Woodcote Park. Our annual planning session gave us the opportunity to take stock of an eventful 2025 and set the foundations for an exciting 2026. Across the two days, we explored the latest market trends and challenges, discussed upcoming products and partnerships, and shared new techniques to strengthen our position as a leading global Managed Service Provider. With so many senior hires during 2025, just as valuable was the time spent connecting as a team, collaborating, socialising, and building the relationships that help us deliver at our best. Strengthening Our Global Bonds. GCX Leadership Visit to Mumbai Last week, members of the GCX leadership team including CEO Lorenzo Romano and CTO Tom Gavin, had the privilege of visiting our colleagues and key suppliers in Mumbai. Being together in person goes beyond meetings: it’s about building deeper trust, connecting on a human level, and reinforcing that we are one team, united by purpose. Culture is key for us at GCX. Throughout the visit we engaged in rich conversations, shared meals and stories, and immersed ourselves in the energy of the Mumbai office. These moments of togetherness are vital, they fuel our collaboration, spark creativity, and strengthen the sense of belonging across the GCX family. One Year On: Celebrating Our GCX Graduates The first year after graduation is often a whirlwind of discovery, a balance between learning and doing, between questions and confidence. For GCX graduates Shinjani Mishra and Siddhesh Upadhyay, this first year has been just that: a journey of transformation, collaboration, and self-belief. As part of our feature entitled “One Year On”, they share their reflections on stepping into the professional world, navigating challenges, and the lessons that have shaped their careers so far. In just 12 months, Shinjani Mishra and Siddhesh Upadhyay have gone from new graduates to confident contributors to the GCX team, growing through hands-on experience, curiosity, and the courage to ask questions. Both earned their CCNA certifications, tackled real-world business challenges, and stepped into full-time roles with confidence. And behind every milestone? Supportive mentors, collaborative teams, and a culture that encourages learning through doing. EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT - Meenesh Patel Meet our latest Employee in the Spotlight, Meenesh Patel, Head of Network Products at GCX With a background primarily in telecommunications, specifically focusing on enterprise B2B services, supplier and cost management, pricing and regulatory compliance, Meenesh was drawn to GCX because of our reputation for innovation and leadership in the global telecommunications underlay service sector. He arrived in 2021. He says "Joining GCX aligned with my passion for tackling telecom challenges and driving business growth through strategic partnerships and operational excellence". Since joining GCX, Meneesh's role has evolved from focusing mainly on supplier and cost management activities to encompassing broader strategic responsibilities including global partnerships and product ownership for critical underlay services. This progression he says "has helped me grow in leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration". “I really enjoy the dynamic nature of the telecommunications industry and the opportunity to solve critical infrastructure and pricing challenges that impact global connectivity”. Citing Jonathan Wright and Lorenzo Romano as key influences on his career development he says "they have both been incredibly supportive and have built a great culture at GCX".
