  • AI is reshaping work faster than most L&D teams can react. The question isn’t whether AI will transform learning. It’s whether L&D will lead that transformation or get pulled along for the ride. 📅 Live on December 4th 🕚 11:00am EST / 4:00pm GMT We’re bringing together four leaders operating at the edge of what modern L&D can do: 🔴 AI in L&D: Beyond the Hype and Into Real Impact They’ll explore: ➡️ What AI is actually changing in workplace learning today ➡️ Real value beyond basic content automation ➡️ How L&D becomes a strategic capability function, not a support team Featuring: David James (360Learning), Ross Stevenson (Steal These Thoughts!), Egle Vinauskaite (Nodes), and Peter Manniche Riber (Novo Nordisk, Kanda, Siemens Gamesa) If you want the signal without the noise and a clearer view of what’s coming next, save your seat: https://bit.ly/43LARjj

  • L&D teams work hard to become true business partners. But as Jess Almlie told David James on a recent episode of The Learning & Development Podcast, many still struggle to set the right expectations. “I am your partner in problem solving. I am not your helper.” In other words — L&D isn’t here to take orders. We’re here to drive real business impact. “If I show up as a helper, I’m eager to make you happy. If I show up as a partner, I’m at the same table, solving the same problems with you.” That mindset shift — from order-taker to strategic partner — is what separates mature L&D teams from the rest.

  • In banking, compliance training is non-negotiable. But if employees are just clicking through it, are you really reducing risk? Forward-thinking L&D leaders in financial services are reframing compliance from a checkbox exercise to a strategic business performance driver. They’re thinking about: ✅ How do we link learning analytics to a measurable drop in compliance breaches? ✅ How much time and cost can we save by digitizing face-to-face sessions, without compromising quality? ✅ How to design better SOP training that streamlines new hire onboarding? Tackling these challenges requires looking at more than just course completion rates. The most effective L&D teams are tracking KPIs that tie learning to actual business outcomes, like: • Cost of content: How efficiently training is developed and delivered • Time to productivity: How quickly new hires are reaching full performance  • Net retention rate: How well the learning culture keeps employees engaged and committed • Compliance breach rate: How effectively learning programs drive safer behavior on the job When compliance learning can be linked directly to these kinds of performance metrics, L&D is finally seen as a major business asset that not only protects the organization, but also drives real measurable growth.

  • DevLearn 2025, you brought the energy — and we showed up ready for it. From nonstop conversations at Booth 426 to a Meet & Greet that turned into a full-on L&D reunion, this year’s event didn’t disappoint. Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by to talk strategy, enjoy the Expo Happy Hour, play the Passport Game, or join the Scavenger Hunt with Genially. And of course, David James led an insightful session on L&D’s strategic evolution in the age of AI agents — a topic that clearly resonated with leaders navigating what’s next. We’re heading home with fresh ideas, great conversations still replaying in our heads, and that unmistakable post-conference buzz 😌 Until next year!

  • UKG Aspire 2025 — what a week ✨ With 5,000+ people in Las Vegas, we spent our time doing what we do best: talking with clients, prospects, partners, and UKG teams about the real learning challenges they’re facing—and what “better work” actually looks like in practice. From booth A2-06 to the 5K Wellness Challenge at sunrise on the Strip, the conversations were honest, energizing, and a reminder of why learning matters in every corner of the HR tech stack. Huge shoutout to the 360Learning team on the ground for showing up with curiosity, clarity, and a lot of steps logged. And thank you to everyone who came by to demo, swap ideas, or just say hi 💚 Las Vegas gave us momentum—and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

  • AI is changing the game for L&D. Anyone can now create learning content. So maybe it’s time L&D says: “We don’t know best — let’s empower the experts.” That’s what Egle Vinauskaite and her co-authors describe as the Enablement Partner — one of the three future paths for L&D, outlined in their new report, The Race for Impact.
