Sorry, replied to the wrong thread.
Hi @evgeniyp,
Thank you for reaching out and for taking the time to record and share the video. I understand that issues like this can be confusing and quite frustrating.
Could you please confirm which payment gateway you are using and how your website is configured? From the video, it appears that after clicking Place Order, you are redirected to a separate page to complete the payment, which differs from the standard WooCommerce checkout flow.
To clarify, when you click Place Order on the checkout page, WooCommerce creates an order with the status Pending payment. If you then go back, edit the checkout details, and click Place Order again, WooCommerce treats this as a new order, meaning two separate orders will be created.
When replying, please share your System Status Report by navigating to WooCommerce → Status → Get system report → Copy for support, and then share it via Pastebin.
Hi @mosesmedh ,
I use Secure Credit Card Payment by Peach Payments and SnapScan App Payments for payments. This behavior is observed even if I use any payment method on the website https://monosnap.ai/file/O5xknd7zlLLuX31HVMC009LNgvvVZ4
Here are the plugins used for payments: https://wordpress.org/plugins/snapscan-online-payments/

But, as I already said, no matter what I use to pay, it still produces an error.
In the video, a new order isn’t created. Please watch the video again, and you’ll see that in this case, there aren’t two orders, but only one that’s being modified.

Hi there!
Thank you for the update. I’ve tried to replicate the issue on my test site, and I can see that the fields update correctly — even if the payment isn’t completed, and we go back to make changes in the fields.
The fields where the data isn’t updating appear to be custom fields. Could you please confirm if you added those fields using a custom plugin or custom code?
If so, I’d recommend contacting the plugin’s support team for assistance, as we’re unable to replicate the issue with the default WooCommerce fields.
It’s been a while since we heard back from you for this reason we are closing this thread.
If WooCommerce has been useful for your store and you appreciate the support you’ve received, we’d truly appreciate it if you could leave us a quick review here:
