Hi, I’m not paying €300 per year for a premium plugin just to be annoyed by forced pop-ups and shady tactics to collect email addresses.
    Stop doing that please.

Some of our customers installed those plugins without being aware of it. That’s so shady behaviour.

2 weeks ago i already submitted a ticket, i got no reply.
Today i learned that Complianz is taken over by team.blue; and yeah: that’s the reason why it is what it now; that’s just sad.

So, please stop poking our clients. I don’t mind that you annoy users on your free plugin. But i pay Premium since year 2020, way before team.blue bought the company. So i believe paying users should deserve more respect then this forced lead generation.

Or do you think Premium paying customer should have this forced banner? Convince me. You know, when you click “Nee, thanks” on the popup; in the end it still displays “Thanks for joining us”. Bizar, no?

    Goedemiddag @davelo,

We are adding additional features to our plugin that need authentication through email; so we need to do this in premium as well, no lead generation in premium of course.

We are happy in any case when someones joins us a user. If you have any questions or remarks about premium, by the guidelines, please share your thoughts through complianz.io.

Add my name to the subject so I can access quickly, thanks.

    regards Aert

I have sent a mail to Complianz support already, without reply.

I don’t see any reason why my customers (of multiple admins) must shared their e-mailadres for extra functionality… please explain that.
I recorded this screencast of “no, thanks”, ending up in “thanks for joing us”; totally unclear what has done and been shared: https://share.woofers.be/7KuwnKjB.

    Hi @davelo @minimamente,

This is the onboarding of the plugin; if you are not willing to share you email address – this is fine, and you can complete the onboarding – whereby we thank you for joining as a new user.

We ask the user for an email addrress, if they want to share it; to authenticate a new website scan and an onboarding with tips & tricks.

You can still use the plugin without sharing your email, and we are still happy you’re joining us.

Any bugs or issues when introducing new features will be fixed and resolved as soon as possible.

    regards Aert

And the popups are disconnecting website of tools like ManageWP . Its very annoying as the backup couldnt proceed…
