It looks like the new version isn’t working. We’ve had the plugin set up for a while, but now nothing happens when the user submits the form. Here’s the URL to form.

    Thank you very much.

    Hi @gerrad8,

Thanks for message, I’m happy to help.

I took a look at your website and noticed the the file the plugin uses for redirecting is cached from another plugin.

    https://www.forumlibertas.com/wp-content/cache/min/1/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/assets/js/redirect_method.js?ver=1749047448

This version is not the latest version of that file, can you please try clearing your cache or set your cache plugin to ignore redirect_method.js

Let me know if this works or if you still have problems.

    Best,
    Scott

Thank you very much for the information. I’ve tried excluding the file:

    /wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-paypal-add-on/assets/js/redirect_method.js

I even deactivated the WP Rocket plugin, but I still get the following message:

“There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

    Kind regards,

    Hi @gerrad8,

    1. I looked at your JS files and it looks good now, no more caching issue. So that should be good.

    2. When I try to fill out the form I keep getting: “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” same as you.

When I look at the network reply from your site it says that it’s detecting it as spam.

Please try turning off either captcha or whatever else you may be using with Contact Form 7 to detect spam.

Please let me know if that helps or not?

    Best,
    Scott

Thank you very much. I’ve tried what you suggested, but the problem seems to persist.

We’ve deactivated the Wordfence Security, Contact Form 7 Pro Redirect, reCAPTCHA by BestWebSoft, and Antispam Bee plugins, but it still doesn’t work.

Testing, I’ve discovered that the filter add_filter(‘wpcf7_spam’, ‘__return_false’); no longer marks the form as spam and it works.

    Hi @gerrad8,

Thanks for the update! Glad it’s working now.

It looks like something is still falsely triggering the spam detection. Are you using reCAPTCHA v3 or any other spam filters with Contact Form 7?

Are you okay with it as it is working now?

    Best,
    Scott
