Hello, I redesigned the website “https://littlegardenproduction.fr/” using the free version of WP Staging. I downloaded the .wpress file of my staging site created with WP Staging, and then imported it into the back office of the live site (https://littlegardenproduction.fr/wp-admin) using All-in-One WP Migration. However, I’m encountering an issue: after importing the file, the address https://littlegardenproduction.fr/ does not redirect to the new public site but instead redirects to the back office of my staging site.

I have tried several methods to fix the problem, but nothing works — I always get the same result. Could you please help me properly migrate my site?

    Hi @emdesign123

When moving a staging site over to the production environment, there are a few internal values that need to be adjusted so WordPress fully recognizes the new environment. WP STAGING PRO handles all of these steps automatically during the push-to-live process, which is why most users prefer it when preparing a site to go live. It’s definitely the most reliable workflow and helps avoid small oversights that can cause behavior like the one you’re seeing.

If you’re considering going that route or have any pre-sale questions about the PRO features, feel free to reach out to us anytime here.

For users who prefer doing everything manually, we also maintain a general migration article that outlines the typical steps involved in moving a staging site to production. It might be useful as a reference while reviewing your setup:

    Thanks,
    Alaa
