• Some times I put about 10 photos in my WordPress. Have to put in one at a time add media then pick it and it put’s it in. Then go do the same over and over and remember were picked it.

There should be a way to pick more then one at a time and it just put them in right after another. I don’t know why no one has done this. All OS you can pick lots of file’s at one time holding down like Shift key. or CTRL to pick between two.

Thank you for making WordPress I started back in 2004.

I’m not sure what you mean exactly. If you want to upload several files at once, you can do so in the upload screen, for example: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/media-add-new-screen/ – there, you just need to select several files using your browser’s file selection field and upload them. You can also use drag & drop here – simply drag the files from a file explorer in your system and drop them in the marked area.

If you meant something else, please describe it in more detail. You are also welcome to provide screenshots, see: https://wordpress.org/support/forum-user-guide/block-editor/#adding-screenshots

It is like this at this Post:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/66719776/wordpress-media-library-select-multiple-images-on-click

It be neat if something like that would be bult in WordPress.

I guess you can drag and drop but I have WordPress on my cellphone and use it both on the PC too so I just add the photos to the media and pick them on my PC.

You’re absolutely right — adding multiple images one by one can be time-consuming. The good news is, you can insert multiple images at once in WordPress, but it depends on how you’re doing it.

    Here’s how:

    1. In the editor, click “Add Media.”
    2. In the Media Library or Upload Files tab, hold down Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select multiple images, or Shift to select a range.
    3. Once selected, click “Insert into post.”

WordPress will place all the chosen images into your post in the order they appear in the Media Library.

If you want even more control — for example, arranging images in a grid or gallery — try the Gallery block in the Block Editor (Gutenberg). It lets you upload or select multiple images at once and automatically organizes them neatly.

And thank you for being part of the WordPress community since 2004 — that’s awesome!
