We switched to using Complianz for our cookie consent solution on a few client sites, but now due to the form on the Opt-Out Preferences page we’re getting tons of “Request for access” data requests which as far as I know we’re legally obligated to respond to. We only want to have an email and phone number they can contact, not a form. How can we remove this?

I know I can hide the form using CSS, however the paragraph above mentions the form, so that won’t work.

    Hi @gavin310

    Thanks for reaching out!

The reason that Data Request Form appeared is that Complianz activates the form if you select that you are targeting visitors from specific States.

If you want to remove the form you need to go into your settings and disable that State targeting.

    1. Go to the Complianz Wizard > General > Visitors.
    2. Look for the question: “Do you specifically target visitors from these states?”
    3. If you see any US states (like California, Virginia, etc.) selected there, you must deselect all of them.

By removing the selection from all targeted US states, Complianz will deactivate the automatic generation of the Data Request Form, allowing you to rely only on the email or phone contacts that you prefer.

    I hope this helps!

    Kind Regards,
    Roberto.
