Hide blocks on Frontend: Hidden in Backend too!

6.9 Beta 1 on Theme “Twenty Twenty-Five”
Hide blocks on Frontend would be, as described, a great help in worklflow.
But the actual option hides it in Backend too! – Which makes it completely useless 🙁
(Would force an explicit unhide for each edit and a new, never forget, hide before each saving!

I hope things are going well for you.
I could replicate what you’re mentioning with NP 6.9 Beta 1, which is an expected feature of the current build. I understand what you are expecting instead of completely hiding, it should be Dimming/overlaying in the backend what we hide.
One person suggested here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/71203#issuecomment-3189883673. I would suggest you comment there https://github.com/wordpress/gutenberg/issues/72001, as it comes under the development team’s attention.
