• The category filters on the calendar aren’t filtering properly. There are currently only 2 categories. I’m assuming that if one clicks on a category in the navigation below, only events in that category should show. And clicking on another category should only show events from that category. When clicking between the 2 categories on my calendar, an odd cycle of results occurs. Here is text version of what happens:

On page load: All Categories highlighted; events in both categories show
    Click on Cat 1: event(s) from Cat 1 only show – link > events/?mcat=1
Click on Cat 2: events in both categories show – link > events/?mcat=1,2
    Click on Cat 1: event(s) from Cat 2 only show – link > events/?mcat=2
Click on Cat 2: events in both categories show – link > events/
Click on Cat 1: event(s) from Cat 1 only show – *cycle repeats*

I’ve disabled plugins, cleared caches, played around with the shortcode, deleted and reinstalled MC plugin. I’ve only been using this plugin a few months; everything else works fine. I appreciate any suggestions for this!

These buttons are working as expected, it’s just that you have different expectations than how they actually work. By default, all categories are shown. If you click on a category, the calendar is limited to that category. If you click on a second category, that category is added to the collection. When you click on a selected category, it’s removed from the collection.

If you want to only have singular category selection, you can switch to using the category dropdown for filtering by category, which will only select a single category at a time.

OK – that doesn’t seem intuitive to me, but I haven’t worked with this type of calendar before. I’ll check out the dropdown feature.

    Thanks for your response!
