Feature to bypass empty form fields

    Ususally stores that sell custom made products need to ship product or material samples. BUT unfortunatelly it is not possible to add a sample to the basket when there are form fields in the add to cart form. Like from an extra product options plugin.

    So to add a sample, empty form fields should be bypassed. Are there any plans to make this possible?

    Hi Fletsch,

    Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your requirements.

    At the moment, the current version of our plugin does not support adding custom options to product sample orders.

    However, we’re actively working on enhancing the plugin, and support for custom options is something we plan to introduce in a future update.

    Hi Hitendra

    Thanks for your answer. Just to clearify: I don’t need to add custom options to a sample. I just would like to add basic samples to the basket. But it is not working together with a extra product options plugin as it does not bypass those custom fields in the add to cart form. it tries to validate all the fields and as they are empty it can’t add the sample to the basekt.

    You’re right — if you’ve added the required fields, it’s possible to request them alongside the product samples.
