Client reported this issue – I tried an updated version of the plugin I found in another thread, but still getting this error. System report included below the error.

FYI update:

reverting back to version 4.7.0 removes the error. Looks like there is a serious issue with 4.8.0

This appears to be an issue in the Dompdf library bundled with our plugin. We’ve already reported it, and once there’s an update we’ll take the necessary steps. For now, we recommend staying on version 4.7.0 until we provide further feedback.

So is it safe to update to 4.8.0 or not? Why is the update to 4.8.0 still available i you recommend to stay on 4.7.0?

It’s safe to use, but some users may experience the issue mentioned in this topic. So far, we’ve only received this report. The library developers are still working on a fix, and we’ll release an update as soon as a new version becomes available.
