Hi as you can see the images and videos are not displaying. I thought this maybe because Facebook oEmbeds are currently not being handled by Smash Balloon so I clicked enable>connect>

You previously logged into Smash Balloon Tools with Facebook.

    Would you like to continue?

    Clicked Continue as ..

You are about to provide https://new.broomeshs.wa.edu.au access to your Instagram information. Please verify that it is your domain.

Clicked yes its my domain and then it goes back to the beginning .. just an eternal loop.

Can you shed any light on why the loop and why the images and videos are not displaying?

    Thanks a million 🙂

    Hi @wotnow,

Thank you for contacting us. The Facebook Feed Free plugin does not display images and videos. You will need to upgrade to the PRO version for the features to display images.

Regarding the oEmbeds API not working, this is likely due to an error in your website database. Usually reinstalling the Facebook Feed plugin fixes this. Before reinstalling, please ensure that on the Facebook Feed > Settings page, “Preserve settings if plugin is removed” is toggled off, then click Save Changes. This will ensure that all the plugin data is cleared so you restart with a fresh install.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards 🙂

Hi I have the free version on my Facebook Feed – Kimberley Web Design and it shows photos? What good would the plugin be if it didnt show the photos?

    Hi @wotnow,

I checked the URL you shared, and the PRO version of the Facebook Feed plugin is installed on that website. You can check this in your WordPress Dashboard > Plugins page.

Facebook regularly audits our PRO plugins for compliance with their quality and security standards in exchange for access to their API. The free version of the Facebook feed plugin goes accesses fewer features of the Facebook API and is less costly for us to maintain.

Please let me know if you have questions.

    Regards 🙂
