This morning, a “Exclusive offer – 60% off!” popup showed up on my WordPress’ Dashboard. I’ve already clicked on the “X” and on “I’m not interested” a dozen times, but it keeps coming back.

    Hi @rfischmann,

The “Exclusive offer” banner should stay dismissed once you click “I’m not interested” or the close (x) icon. Please try the following steps to ensure the notice stays dismissed:

    • Please ensure you have the latest version of the Instagram feed plugin installed. An earlier version of the plugin had a similar issue which was resolved in a plugin update.
    • Please go to your WordPress Dashboard > Instagram Feed > Settings > Advanced Tab > Reset Error Log > Click Reset button this will clear the plugin-specific error log.
    • There may be heavy cache on your website that prevents the message from going away. Clear the cache in you server and optimization plugins.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards 🙂

Hi @nigelrsb, thanks for getting back to me.

The notice kept appearing a few more times that day, but it later stopped and hasn’t come back so far.

Yes, I do have the latest version of the plugin installed. I did try the Reset thing, didn’t help. And no, I don’t have any caching inside the WordPress Admin whatsoever.

    Cheers.

Coincidentally, it reappeared yesterday twice. Now, it’s gone again.
