I hate the sneaky way Elementor continues your subscription. I thought I had canceled my $199/year subscription last year. What I didn’t know that you actually have to switch off ‘autorenewal’ on your payment method for that to work. Did not receive an autorenewal notification, just noticed it on my credit card statement. By then, I was 20 days outside the refund period. Explained it to support but they could see no reason why a refund for the remaining 11 months would be reasonable.

    Hi Petervanakkeren,

We send out an email letting you know what happens 30 days before renewing and right after renewing the subscription.

In order to cancel the subscription, you have to go to your account and disable auto renewal and there is no other way to do it, unless you ask an agent to specifically assist you with it. There is no other way of cancelling the subscription.

We believe that we’re transparent with the subscription renewal and we also provide a renewal refund within the first 30 days of renewal, which leaves a plenty of time to contact us and send in a request.

We understand your frustration with the refund not being granted, however in order to keep it fair for everyone, we have the policies in place.

However, if you do decide to come back one day, I am sure we can make it work!

We wish to thank you for your feedback, we truly appreciate your input and we’ll work on making the renewal and cancellation more streamlined.
