@mridulgoswami Please do not recommend people email anyone. That email does not even exist. Earlier you suggested someone email plugins for a commercial plugin dispute, don’t do that either. The plugins team does not ever get involved in plugin disputes for plugins that are not hosted on this site. That means any commercial plugin or commercial plugin support dispute is never for the plugins team.

Back to this topic: @yasirkhalifa I do not know how the badge works for the core team but for other teams the badge is often a manual thing. I suggest you ask in the WordPress Slack #meta channel instead. A forum topic is not the way, that I know.

@yasirkhalifa core contributor badges are awarded based on the core releases of the tickets and to user who have got props. However as the above ticket is not considered for the release now you need to wait till the ticket gets milestone.
