Beware of W3 Total Cache: feedback after 2 wasted weeks

💡 My Review of W3 Total Cache

I recently used W3 Total Cache to optimize my site, but honestly, it took me at least two weeks of work. 😅

The plugin promises to speed up WordPress, but:

The settings can be complicated,

It can create conflicts with other plugins,

And sometimes, it slows down or freezes the site instead of improving it.

Even after uninstalling it, it still leaves conflicting files. My site works much better and is much more stable without it.

✅ Lesson learned: A powerful plugin isn’t always the best solution. Sometimes, simplicity and compatibility are better than over-optimization.

If you want to improve your site, start by manually clearing your caches and prioritize reliable and easy-to-configure plugins.
